Science and Policy. Can a Political Discharge of Scientific Evidence Depolarize Trust in Science in Public Controversies?

Senja Post is Professor of Science Communication at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie. Her areas of expertise are science communication, studying dynamics of public controversies, journalism studies as well as media reception studies.

Jana Laura Egelhofer is a post-doctoral researcher at the Munich Science Communication Lab, and has completed her PhD at the University in Vienna. Her areas of expertise are discourses around misinformation, disinformation and fake news. At MSCL, she works on issues of planetary health.
