Dr. Möller's core focus is the visual communication of data, concepts (such as uncertainty and exponential growth), and models (primarily computational and algorithmic). On the one hand, he is developing ways to measure 'visualization literacy' grounded in learning science principles. On the other hand, he is researching ways to simplify the depiction of data, concepts, and models to make them more accessible to diverse populations.
